Vaccines for travel should be a priority on that list. At Atlanta Travel Medicine, we will create a customized vaccination plan based on your travel needs.

Bring your travel itinerary in to Atlanta Travel Medicine so we can help you with a personalized care plan for your specific locations of travel. Atlanta Travel Medicine provides the highest standard of medical care and expert counsel on vaccines needed for international travel. We assist travelers in getting the latest CDC recommended travel vaccines, such as Malaria vaccination shots and Typhoid vaccination shots.

Atlanta Travel Medicine provides professional services, which include: Care, Counseling, and aftercare if you do return from a trip ill. After care is very important especially if you have been travelling abroad and need an obscure treatment, most family physicians are not tropical disease specialists and may not be familiar with how to treat such conditions. Of course, in the case of all medical emergencies please call 911.

October 2019

CDC Vaccine Alert: Yellow Fever Vaccine Shortage

YF-Vax, the only yellow fever vaccine licensed in the United States, is out of stock until the end of 2019. If you’re planning travel to Africa or Central or South America, you may need yellow fever vaccine for your trip. Sanofi Pasteur has worked with CDC and FDA to provide travelers with an alternate vaccine, Stamaril, until YF-Vax is again available. Sites offering Stamaril are limited and Atlanta Travel Medicine is not an alternate site.  Prepare for your trip by visiting the CDC website for sites offering the Stamaril alternative.
